My Platform

My plan for my term at VJCL is simplified into a simple acronym: FORUM, which is based off of VJCL’s publication.

F - fabula (meaning story in English)

I want to help record and preserve people’s memories to create new ones together as a state in order to create an outstanding newsletter for everyone. I want to be able to create meaningful stories as a state chapter and entertain everyone with fun activities and stories.

O - omnis (meaning everyone)

I intend to send out forms for people to complete about their recent activities, fun polls, answers to questions that people have submitted, file drop-ins, etc, so that EVERYONE can participate

R - respondeo (meaning to respond)

I plan to work with local chapters’ editors in order to spread the word of forms that would be due, and publicating Forum and Mini-Forum.

U - una (meaning together)

In order to unite the JCL community further, I would like to introduce “mini forums” that would be published once a month. This publication would be around 3-5 pages long, which would include be focused on sending out announcements and events, but would also provide photo albums, memes, etc. Please note that it would NOT replace Forum. M - magnopere (meaning greatly)

I would GREATLY achieve all of the above through my experience in Canva, procreate, photoshop, illustrator, and indesign.
